Leticia DeOliveira, LMHC
Hello, my name is Leticia De Oliveira, licensed mental health counselor (LMHC). I am Brazilian American, first generation college student. I received my Master’s Degree from Boston College Clinical counseling and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Boston University. I specialize in working with teenagers and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma/C-PTSD, transitions, and challenges in relationships or attachment.
I uses a combination of therapeutic approaches based on a patient’s needs being person centered. Starting with collaboration and caring, blended with evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic Approach, DBT, and specialized training in EMDR to help patient’s heal from trauma, build resilience, and create change.
I have a deep understanding of various cultural considerations, but also understands that each patient is unique.
At the heart of effective therapy is a strong, trusting relationship between you and your therapist. It’s the foundation for healing, growth, and lasting change.
